The Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (ISISE), www.isise.net was created in 2007 to achieve excellence in research and to create a leading cluster in structural and functional performance of Civil Engineering Works, from a perspective of advanced technology, innovation and a knowledge based economy with a wide focus that ranges from materials to integral systems with a life cycle approach.
